Our families and community members are invited to join the Ridgecrest community on Wednesday, August 26, at the Kerr McGee Community Center for a very special event:

🚀 FROM CHINA LAKE TO SPACE

Come hear Captain Victor Glover share his inspiring journey from China Lake to becoming a NASA astronaut and traveling to space! Captain Glover will talk about his experiences, the challenges and opportunities that shaped his journey, and the importance of curiosity, perseverance, education, and dreaming BIG.
🎤 The presentation begins at 6:30 p.m.
🚪 Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
Captain Glover will also participate in a live Q&A, giving students and families the exciting opportunity to hear directly from an astronaut!
Following the presentation, families are invited to stay and explore:
